The models for the leaves and cicadas were sculpted in wax and then cast in metal. The cicadas were patterned from an off course member of the 1992 hatch that spent two days in my studio before rejoining the swarm.

Kiln formed glass sping peepers and leaves with hand cut and polished flourite, sculpted metal and handmade antique glass.
